In pursuit of Level 3 Facility certification (biosafety level 3 facility cetification) for the M54 Animal Health Lab at the Human Health Therapeutics Research Centre, 1200 Montreal Road, Ottawa, the National Research Council (NRC) faced a major challenge: passing the stringent ASME N511 pressure decay test.

In June of 2023 Trent University facility services engaged the Nerva energy group with a five-building project to reduce ventilation air leakage. The program called ventilation repair, seal and optimize (VeRO) is an engineered process to reduce ventilation air league to less than 2%.

The Peel District School Board (PDSB) was facing significant inflationary pressures on it’s facilities and utilities budget. In addition, the Board has been experiencing declining enrollment due to the high cost of living in Peel region, putting additional pressure to be more efficient with it’s resources.
