Peel District School Board

The Peel District School Board (PDSB) was facing significant inflationary pressures on it’s facilities and utilities budget. In addition, the Board has been experiencing declining enrollment due to the high cost of living in Peel region, putting additional pressure to be more efficient with it’s resources.

Despite these challenges, the Board remains committed to maintaining a high level of facilities quality & efficiency. Ventilation requirements remain stringent now and into the future and the improvements Peel DSB implements to their ventilation systems will enhance the quality of the teaching and learning environment in a sustainable fashion. “We recognize the importance of doing more with less, and we’re actively seeking ways to achieve this goal”, notes Shahid Naeem, Manager of Energy and Sustainability, PDSB.
