November 2024 - Net Zero Times
Net Zero Times offers valuable insights and perspectives for public and private sector building operators and C-suite executives focused on climate action and sustainability. We explore a diverse range of topics, including climate change, renewable energy, emerging clean technologies, policy developments, corporate initiatives, and innovative solutions aimed at achieving net-zero emissions.
Our goal is to keep readers informed about the latest technological trends, financial strategies, risk mitigation approaches, and other advancements on the journey toward a circular economy.
Lest we Forget - let's not forget to honour and pay tribute to members of the Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP who served to defend our values and freedoms. We also honour those who continue to serve our country on November 11th by watching The National Ceremony, attending a local ceremony, wearing a poppy and observing the two minutes of silence to honour the Fallen, and recognize the sacrifices of all who served as this is the most important and central element of Remembrance Day.
Be sure to check out Hope, Collaboration, and Education, Essentials in the Fight Against Climate Change, an interview with Sophie Mathur as she shares her extensive journey in climate activism, which began in her childhood and has evolved through various initiatives, including her involvement with Fridays for Future. In addition, Mathur provides an update on her ongoing legal case against the Province of Ontario, noting the positive developments following a successful initial hearing which is also featured in an article in the Star, CBC and many other media platforms.
